The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Internal Medicine Clinician to join an independent specialist veterinary referral hospital near Darlington. This position would suit a Board-Certified Specialist, Residency-Trained Clinician, Advanced Practitioner, or Certificate Holder in Small Animal Internal Medicine who is seeking to work within a modern referral environment with access to advanced diagnostic equipment and the opportunity to help shape a growing service.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist internal medicine consultations and treatment plans for referred patients.
- Collaborate closely with specialist surgeons and other referral clinicians.
- Build strong relationships with referring veterinary practices.
- Support the continued development of the Internal Medicine service.
- Maintain the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence.

The hospital is equipped with a comprehensive range of advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities, including:
- Siemens 1.5T MRI
- Siemens CT Scanner
- Karl Storz endoscopy and rigid scope systems
- Advanced Doppler ultrasound equipment
- Modern referral-level imaging and diagnostic capabilities
Candidate Requirements
- Veterinary degree recognised for practice within the UK.
- RCVS registration, or eligibility to register.
- Board Certified, Residency Trained, Advanced Practitioner, or Certificate Holder in Small Animal Internal Medicine.
- Experience managing referral-level internal medicine cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
