We are currently working with a clinic based in Los Angeles, who is looking for an experienced doctor to join their 3 veterinarian practice.
The practice owner is looking to take a step back so, is looking for a doctor to take on the responsibility of the premises permit. This role doesn’t require you to be an experienced Veterinarian, as long as you’re willing to take on this responsibility. If this is a role you would like to discuss, but are not wanting to take on this sort of responsibility, the practice would still love to speak to you.
The practice
This is a full-service clinic based in the heart of Los Angeles. The practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive veterinary services to pets and their families. This small animal hospital provides a wide range of services designed to address all aspects of your pet’s health. From routine wellness check-ups to advanced treatments, the vet clinic ensures your pet receives the highest standard of care. They specialize in preventative care, emergency vet services, and treatment for allergies, helping your pet stay healthy and happy all year-round. As well as routine and emergency appointments, the clinic also offers rehabilitation and holistic treatments including acupuncture and massage.
The role
The practice is looking for a Veterinarian to take on the responsibility of the practice permit.
There is an experienced staff manager who will take charge of all of the regulatory protocols, so you must collaborate with her to oversee things.
This is a full-time role which will include weekends.
You will work in a team of 3 doctors, with a good technician to doctor ratio to allow you to do your job efficiently.
Responsibilities:
-Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
-Treat and dress wounds
-Perform surgery on animals
-Test for and vaccinate against diseases
-Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
-Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
-Prescribe medication
-Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high-quality care
Qualifications:
-Veterinary Medicine, Surgical, and Diagnostic skills
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment
-Experience in small animal care is required
-Knowledge of preventive care and wellness programs
-State licensure and DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school

Salary: $ 200,000 – 250,000Per Year plus sign on/ retention bonus
