A well-established, AAHA-accredited 24-hour small animal hospital in Bakersfield, California is seeking an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join its experienced and collaborative medical team. This opportunity is open to experienced veterinarians, new graduates, and current veterinary students, with structured mentorship available.

• 11 Doctors of Veterinary Medicine

• 12 Registered Veterinary Technicians

• 40 Veterinary Assistants

• 14 Client Service Representatives

• 11 Kennel Assistants

• On-site leadership and management team

Facilities & Medical Technology

• 7 exam rooms

• Dedicated surgical suite

• Dedicated dental suite with dental radiography

• Digital radiographs (hands-free radiology encouraged)

• Overnight sleeping room for doctors

Specialty Collaboration

• Monthly on-site visits from board-certified Cardiologist, Criticalists, and Dermatologists

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation

•  $180,000 per year +

• Salary negotiable based on experience, skills, and credentials

Qualifications
