We currently have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for an additional small Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, growing, purpose-built clinic in Stockton, County Durham. The practice is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic veterinary professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, affordable healthcare with a Fear Free–centred approach.

This role is ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working in a progressive, independent, family-owned practice and wants to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team.

The Role

The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced and collaborative team comprising Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), 2 Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs), and 4 Front of House Care Coordinators.

  • 4 days per week, 8:30am – 7:00pm

  • Combination of consulting and surgical (theatre) shifts

  • 15-minute consultation slots

  • Dedicated daily administration time

  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8:30am – 1:00pm), reducing as the team expands

  • No out-of-hours (OOH) requirements

Salary

£40,000 – £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
