Associate Veterinarian (DVM) – Small Animal Veterinary Hospital – Kingwood, TX

Location: Kingwood, Texas – a master-planned community located northeast of Houston, known as the “Livable Forest” for its abundance of trees, greenbelts, and parks. We’re working with a well-established small animal veterinary hospital in Kingwood, TX that is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative and experienced team. This opportunity is ideal for both new graduates and experienced veterinarians, offering mentorship, modern technology, and a strong focus on work-life balance.

The practice provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, combining preventative care with the treatment of more complex medical cases in a supportive environment.

Schedule

• Full-time position with strong work-life balance
• Approximately 34 hours of scheduled appointments per week
• Set day off during the week plus rotating Saturdays
• Hospital hours:
  • Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Saturday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
• No on-call responsibilities
• Nearby emergency and specialty hospitals provide after-hours support

Case Load

• Small animal focus (dogs and cats)
• Combination of wellness, preventative care, and sick visits

Candidate Profile

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas
• Passionate about delivering high-quality veterinary care
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
