About the Opportunity

We’re working with a well-established, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Quincy, IL that is seeking an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join a collaborative and experienced team. This position offers a unique blend of general practice and urgent care, providing case variety and strong opportunities for professional growth.

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Open 7 days per week
• Hospital hours: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Rotating weekend schedule
• No overnight on-call responsibilities

Case Load

• Small animal focus (dogs and cats)
• Mix of wellness, preventative care, and complex medical cases
• Urgent care and same-day sick cases, especially on weekends
• Soft tissue surgery and dentistry
• Internal medicine and diagnostic workups
• Fear-Free and Feline Friendly patient handling

Candidate Profile

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois
• Passion for delivering high-quality veterinary care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in both general practice and urgent care medicine
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $110,000 – $150,000, depending on experience and credentials
