We’re working with a well-established, community-focused veterinary hospital located in Chicago, IL that is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join its collaborative team. About the Practice
This small animal general practice is supported by an experienced team of veterinary professionals who foster a collaborative and positive workplace culture. The hospital currently operates with a close-knit staff and is seeking to grow due to evolving scheduling needs.

The practice primarily treats cats and dogs, with openness to expanding services to include exotics or advanced surgical procedures based on candidate experience.

Services include:

  • Soft tissue surgery (spay/neuter, mass removal, cystotomy, pyometra)

  • Preventive care and vaccinations

  • Sick visits and wellness exams

  • Dental cleanings

  • Digital radiology

  • In-house and reference laboratory diagnostics

  • Mobile ultrasound services


Schedule & Work-Life Balance

  • Open Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (closed Sundays)

  • Full-time schedule: approximately 30–35 hours/week

  • Most needed days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday

  • 1–2 surgery days per week

  • At least one Saturday off per month

  • Flexible scheduling available for full-time or part-time candidates

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
