We’re working with an established 24/7 veterinary referral and emergency hospital located in Newcastle, 2 hours north of Sydney, NSW, Australia that is seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Internal Medicine Veterinarian to join its growing specialist team.

About the Hospital
The hospital employs more than 100 experienced veterinarians, specialists, nurses and animal care professionals delivering emergency and referral services across the region. Operating continuously 24 hours a day, the facility manages more than 10,000 emergency and referral cases annually and provides comprehensive services including:

The Role
The Internal Medicine Veterinarian will work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary referral team to deliver high-quality patient care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

Candidate Requirements
• Veterinary degree recognised for registration in New South Wales, Australia (BVSc, DVM or equivalent)
• Board certification in Veterinary Internal Medicine or completion of an approved residency training program
• Eligibility for veterinary registration in NSW
• Strong commitment to patient care, ethical practice and teamwork
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Salary and Benefits
• Salary package of $250,000 – $300,000 depending on experience
