Board Certified Veterinarian – Internal Medicine – Full time – Singapore, Asia

If yes, I am currently working with a Veterinary hospital based in Singapore, which due to growth is looking to hire a Specialist Internist to join their team.

The hospital:

This hospital first opened their doors in 2018 as a dedicated 24-hour Veterinary clinic focused on delivering expert animal emergency and critical care to pets across Singapore.

Over the years they have grown from strength to strength and are now looking to hire a specialist in Internal medicine to complement their team. You will work alongside a surgical specialist.

You will join a purpose-built hospital, that boasts state-of-the-art technology and amenities aimed at promptly diagnosing and treating pet’s emergency and critical care needs.

The role:

You will join a highly experienced team of around 25 members of staff, comprising of 8 specialist emergency trained Vets, and a support team of Veterinary Nurses and technicians.

As this is a new position, there is an element of flexibility with this role.

This is a full time position, working over 4 days per week, hours between 8am – 6pm. This is a day role, but you may be required to offer support to the ECC team on the phone.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a variety of complex diseases.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate care for patients, in collaboration with owners, team members and referring veterinarians.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to veterinary staff on techniques and best practices.
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with clients about treatment options and prognosis

Qualifications/Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school registrable with AVS
• Board certification in veterinary surgery (ACVS/ECVS/FANZCVS). Registrars are welcome to apply.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion for animals and their owners, with a commitment to providing high-quality care
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team

In return, the hospital is offering a competitive salary of SGD$18-20000 per month + production + Visa and sponsorships + $5000 relocation allowance + 14days holiday + Hospitalisation medical insurance cover + Workplace injury insurance cover + SGD$1500 per year CE allowance +1 week paid study/CE leave
