ECC Veterinarian for a 24 hour veterinary hospital in Singapore

If yes, I am currently working with a Veterinary hospital based in Singapore, which due to growth is looking to hire an ECC Veterinarian to join their team.

The hospital:

This hospital first opened their doors in 2018 as a dedicated 24-hour Veterinary clinic focused on delivering expert animal emergency and critical care to pets across Singapore.

Over the years they have grown from strength to strength and are now looking to hire a specialist in Orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery to complement their team.

You will join a purpose-built hospital, that boasts state-of-the-art technology and amenities aimed at promptly diagnosing and treating pet’s emergency and critical care needs.

• Mobile Ultrasound and Full Spec Diagnostic Ultrasound Room

• Dedicated cat and small animal ward

The role:

You will join a highly experienced team of around 25 members of staff, comprising of 8 specialist emergency trained Vets, and a support team of Veterinary Nurses and technicians.

• Full -time ECC vet, working 6 x 12.5 hour shifts per fortnight
• Rota consists of day/nights/swing shifts,  includes weekends and public holidays. Every 3 monthly shift change to reduce too many disruptions to sleeping pattern. The shift timings are as follow: Day shift 10am-10.30pm, Swing Shift 2pm-2.30am, Night shift 10pm to 10.30am. A night shift only role can also be accommodated.
• 14 days annual leave
• CE allowance of $1500SGD per year after first year of service, 1 week study leave on top of paid annual leave.
• Clinical experience in emergency and critical care is essential.
• Experience in a multi-specialty facility is preferred but not essential
• At least 2 years clinical experience is essential.
• Role availability: immediate – this is an addition to the current team due to expansion, not a replacement.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school registrable with AVS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion for animals and their owners, with a commitment to providing high-quality care
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
