Emergency Veterinarian – Cerritos, CA | Advanced 24/7 Care Team

We’re currently working with a leading veterinary hospital in Cerritos, California, that is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join a skilled and collaborative team. The role allows veterinarians to deliver high-quality care supported by advanced medical technology, comprehensive facilities, and a talented team. Cerritos, located in the heart of Southern California’s Los Angeles County, offers a family-friendly community, excellent schools, and convenient access to beaches, cultural attractions, and a variety of dining and entertainment options.

• Work alongside a team of 8 doctors, 13 Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs), and 31 Veterinary Assistants.

• Practice in a 10,000-square-foot hospital equipped with digital radiography, acupuncture, an endoscopy tower, multiple ultrasounds, O₂ cages, a ventilator, a complete in-house lab, and extensive IV and monitoring equipment.

• Opportunity to work in a hybrid practice environment, seeing a variety of cases and performing surgery.

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time positions available.

• Day, swing, and overnight shifts offered.

• Hospital operates 24/7.

• Primarily dogs and cats, with occasional wildlife cases through local animal control partnerships.

Total Rewards

• Compensation: Annual salary range of $80,000 to $180,000 + negotiable based on experience and credentials. Eligible for additional variable pay programs.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.

• Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
