We’re currently working with an established independent small animal practice in North West London, that is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its progressive, patient- and client-focused team. The practice is committed to delivering high standards of veterinary care, with a strong emphasis on communication, continuity of care, and long-term client relationships.
The clinic is particularly interested in a Veterinary Surgeon with a genuine interest in imaging, dentistry, and medicine, and offers an environment that supports clinical development in these areas.
About the Practice
This well-established independent practice is located between Golders Green and Cricklewood, with convenient access to West Hampstead, Hendon, and Hampstead. The supportive and collaborative team provides high-quality veterinary services to a loyal and friendly client base.
Practice Ethos

Clients

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:00am–7:00pm

Saturday: 9:00am–6:00pm (1 in 3, with time off in lieu)

Scheduled time for surgery, procedures, and client communication

Support & Referrals
The practice is supported by visiting specialists in cardiology, imaging, soft tissue, and orthopaedic surgery. Referrals are primarily made to leading specialist centres.
Candidate Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ UK small animal practice experience

Interest in imaging, dentistry, and medicine

Confident in routine surgery, medicine, and emergency work

Strong communication skills and ability to support colleagues

Curiosity and a passion for empathetic, holistic patient care
