We’re working with a well-established small animal veterinary hospital in New Hartford, NY that is seeking an experienced Medical Director (DVM) to lead a collaborative, long-tenured team while practicing high-quality, advanced veterinary medicine. About the Hospital

This AAHA-accredited, Fear Free–certified companion animal practice offers a collaborative environment where veterinarians and staff work together to provide the highest level of patient care.

The recently renovated facility includes advanced medical equipment and modern treatment areas:

  • 10 exam rooms

  • Double sterile surgical suite

  • Double dental suite with dental X-ray

  • Digital radiography

  • Ultrasound

  • Cold laser therapy

  • In-house diagnostic laboratory

  • Oxygen chamber

  • ECG monitoring

The hospital also supports the local community by partnering with regional rescue organizations and animal welfare groups to provide quality veterinary care for animals in need.


Schedule

Flexible scheduling is available and designed to support both team member needs and hospital operations.

Hospital Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

  • Sunday: Closed

Most roles are full-time, though part-time candidates may be considered.


Compensation

  • Base Salary: $140,000 – $160,000 (based on experience and credentials)

  • Medical Director Stipend: $15,000 annually

  • Additional performance-based compensation opportunities may be available
