Job Description:

We’re currently working with a well-established, full-service veterinary hospital in La Quinta, California, that is seeking a Medical Director to lead its dedicated and collaborative team. In this leadership role, the Medical Director will be supported by advanced medical technology, modern facilities, and a highly skilled staff. This is an opportunity to practice high-quality medicine while shaping the future of a growing hospital in a vibrant desert community.


About the Hospital

  • Collaborative team of 3 Doctors, 2 RVTs, and 8 Veterinary Assistants

  • Advanced technology and equipment, including:

    • Digital Radiography

    • Digital Dental Radiography

    • Diagnostic Ultrasound

    • Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

    • Cold and Therapeutic Lasers

  • Acupuncture and chiropractic services available

  • Diverse caseload including dogs, cats, exotics (rabbits, guinea pigs, pocket pets), avian species, reptiles, and wildlife


Schedule

  • Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available

  • Hospital Hours:

    • Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 5:00pm

    • Saturday: 8:30am – 5:00pm

Compensation

  • Annual salary range: $80,000 – $180,000

  • Salary negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and credentials

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent
