We’re working with a leading 24/7 specialty, emergency, and general veterinary hospital in Hollywood, Florida that is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join its growing multidisciplinary team. This is an opportunity to practice advanced oncology in a highly collaborative environment supported by cutting-edge diagnostics, extensive specialty services, and a strong referral network.

About the Practice

This well-established specialty hospital provides comprehensive advanced care for companion animals in a high-acuity, referral-based setting. The hospital operates around the clock and is supported by experienced specialists across multiple disciplines, including Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, and Emergency & Critical Care.

The clinical environment is designed for advanced diagnostics and complex case management, with extensive equipment and resources, including:

  • 64-slice CT scanner
  • Dual digital radiography systems
  • Multiple ultrasound units
  • Video endoscopy, bronchoscopy, thoracoscopy, laparoscopy, and arthroscopy
  • Ventilators and high-flow oxygen therapy
  • Advanced anesthetic and critical care monitoring systems
  • In-house laboratory and blood product support

Ideal Candidate

  • Board-certified or residency-trained Medical Oncologist (DACVIM or equivalent)
  • Licensed in Florida, or eligible for licensure
