Are you and RVN or qualified Nurse based in Asia, or are you currently overseas and wanting to combine work and travel?
I’m currently working with a well-established Veterinary hospital based in Hong Kong, that is seeking a qualified Veterinary Nurse to complement their team. This is a night role and is to work within their 24-hour hospital.

Facilities include: Two dedicated surgical suites with full anaesthetic monitoring equipment, digital doppler ultrasound, digital radiography, echocardiogram, dental X-ray, acupuncture, herbal medicine and laser therapy.
The role
This is a night role, and you will join a close knit and supportive team, who have high levels of engagement and happiness.
During the nights, you will work alongside 1 other Vet and Nurse.
You will work a pattern of 4 nights on, 3 off, or 3 nights on, 4 off. Working hours are either 6pm-6am or 8pm-8am.
Duties include:
- Provide inpatient and emergency care to patients from surgery, oncology and internal medicine, assisting with incoming emergencies and be responsible for case handovers each day.
- Work closely with the teams to ensure high standards of care are provided around the clock to the patients
- Assist veterinarians with complex surgeries, consultations, diagnostic imaging, and other techniques
- Respond to client inquiries; including communicating and liaising professionally with clients, both in supervised and unsupervised situations, and recording and documenting client communication and feedback accordingly.
To qualify for this role, you must be a qualified Veterinary Nurse or certified technician.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Team player, striving for gold standard of care
- English is the official language of the hospital, knowledge of Cantonese is not required
- Previous emergency and critical care experience is an advantage
