We’re currently working with a purpose-built Veterinary Surgery in Southampton, Hampshire that is seeking a registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team.

The practice

You will join a purpose-built clinic, which is light and spacious and equipped with the latest technology. The extensive equipment includes: 2 operating theatres, dental suite, digital x-ray suite, handheld dental x-ray machine, new ultrasound equipment, separate wards for dogs, cats and small animals, walk-in kennels, a separate lab, isolation unit, multiparameter monitors and orthopaedic equipment.

The role

This is a full-time role, working 4 x 9-hour days per week, including 1:4 weekend rotation and in patients on rotation.

This role assists the Head Nurse in driving the efficiency, effectiveness, governance and continuous improvement of the clinical activities within the surgery.

To qualify for this role, you must be a team player who is able to get stuck in and support your colleagues. You’ll have excellent communication skills and thrive on a varied caseload.
