Permanent Senior ECC Veterinary Nurse job – Singapore

Are you a registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) or do you have a certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing?

If yes, I am currently working with a Veterinary hospital based in Singapore, that is looking for a senior ECC Nurse to join their team.

Over the years they have grown from strength to strength and as well as offering emergency care, have now introduced some referral services.

The role:

You will join a highly experienced team of around 25 members of staff, comprising of 8 specialist emergency trained Vets, and a support team of Veterinary Nurses and technicians.

The practice is looking to hire a senior ECC Nurse to join their team.

This is a fulltime position, working 7x 12-hour shifts per fortnight, and these will be a mix of days, nights and swing shifts.

Duties include:

• Assisting the veterinarians with in-patient and outpatient treatments, monitoring and procedures. • Participation in daily rounds to ensure proper handover of cases between shifts
• Following clinical Standard Operating Protocols as prepared by nursing managers to upkeep standard of care for patients
• Triage of patients presenting at the clinic
• liaising with owners in a professional manner, in person and over the phone
• Liaising with referring veterinarians and clinic staff in a professional manner
• Care and hygiene of in-patients
• Cleanliness of the clinic and its surrounds
• Upkeeping the Company’s reputation within the industry
• Reporting to the nurse managers and practice manager

To qualify for this role, you must be an experienced Veterinary Nurse with at least 5 years’ experience.

In return the clinic is offering a competitive salary between 5000-8000SGD per month. If you have an advanced certificate in ECC or previous leadership experienced, the salary is between 8000-10000SGD per month.
