Experienced small animal Vet for an independent practice based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire

We’re currently working with an independent practice based in South Yorkshire, that is seeking an experienced small animal Vet to join their team. The clinic is happy to consider full and part time hours

The clinic has a practice in Sheffield, and Chesterfield, Derbyshire, so the role is commutable from South Yorkshire and parts of the East Midlands as well as the Peak District.

You will join a forward-thinking team of 4.5 Vets, 8 nurses, 2 students, ANA + 3 receptions as well as an admin team to make sure everything runs smoothly.

The practice:

The clinic uses state of the art diagnostic equipment including: ultrasonography, endoscopic and radiographic imaging alongside several modern in-house analysers, and they offer a wide range of surgical procedures, from routine operations to specialist orthopaedics.

You would be joining a team of highly trained, skillful and passionate individuals who, as a group, devote their lives to patient care. They offer a friendly, personal service within an independent practice.

The role:

The practice is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

This role is to work 4 days per week (with a set day off per week) and 1:4 Saturdays 08.30-16.00 with no out of hours. Part time hours can be considered too.

The practice can offer a supportive environment where case discussion is encouraged.

This role will include a good variation of consulting and surgery.

To qualify for this opportunity, you must be a qualified Vet with 2+ years relevant experience, registered with the RCVS.

In return, the practice is offering a competitive salary of up to £60 000 + 8 weeks holiday per year plus an extra day for your birthday + All overtime paid in TOIL + Generous CPD allowance up to £3000 + Quarterly bonuses based on turnover/performance + Annual salary reviews
