Job Description:

We’re currently hiring for a board-certified or residency-trained Specialty Medical Director to join a leading 24-hour specialty and emergency veterinary hospital in Fountain Valley, California. The successful candidate will work in an environment supported by advanced medicine, cutting-edge technology, state-of-the-art facilities, and a highly skilled veterinary team. This role empowers veterinarians to deliver exceptional care while shaping the hospital’s medical vision and quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Veterinary Specialist ready to transition into a leadership role, balancing clinical practice with administrative responsibilities. The Medical Director will receive support from regional leadership and field teams to ensure success.

Compensation:

  • Negotiable based on education, experience, and credentials; $300,000–$400,000 annual salary range

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university
