About the Opportunity

We’re working with a newly designed urgent care hospital in Northwest San Antonio, TX that is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to provide same- or next-day care for dogs and cats. The hospital emphasizes efficiency, client connection, and quality medicine, allowing veterinarians to focus on patient care rather than administrative tasks.

Schedule

  • Full-time schedule

  • Hospital hours:

    • Monday – Friday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

    • Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

  • Closed on major holidays: New Year’s, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas

  • 4 ten-hour shifts per week, including 4 weekend shifts per month


Patient Focus

  • Urgent care for dogs and cats, addressing common issues such as:

    • Allergic reactions

    • Diarrhea or vomiting

    • Ear and eye infections

    • Skin conditions, fleas/ticks/mites

    • Wounds and lacerations

    • Lethargy, loss of appetite, or pain/limping

    • Respiratory disease, toxin ingestion, urinary issues

Qualifications
