Veterinarian required for an independent clinic based in Tampa, FL

We are currently working with a full-service clinic based in Tampa, FL, that is seeking a veterinarian to complement their team.

You will join a team of dedicated and compassionate veterinarians, technicians, and support staff who are committed to providing the best possible care for their patients.

The clinic offers a full range of veterinary services, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, surgeries, and emergency care.

Here you will be part of a team of 2 Doctors, 2:1 ratio of Veterinary Nurses, a dedicated reception team and a knowledgeable Practice manager.

Clinic open hours are Monday – Friday 8am-5pm.

The clinic is based in a concentrated Hispanic demographic area of Tampa so being bilingual in Spanish is a bonus but not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

-Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
-Treat and dress wounds
-Perform surgery on animals
-Test for and vaccinate against diseases
-Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
-Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
-Prescribe medication
-Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high-quality care
