About the Opportunity

We’re working with a leading 24/7 specialty and emergency veterinary hospital in Tustin, CA that  is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Cardiologist to join a dynamic, collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have access to advanced diagnostics, cutting-edge technology, and a highly skilled support staff to provide world-class cardiovascular care for pets.

This position provides opportunities to collaborate with specialists across internal medicine, surgery, neurology, oncology, dermatology, ophthalmology, and dentistry, while practicing at the highest standard of veterinary medicine.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex cardiovascular cases in companion animals, including advanced imaging and intervention planning.
• Work closely with emergency and critical care teams to stabilize and manage acute cardiac patients.
• Mentor and collaborate with colleagues, interns, and technicians to promote a culture of learning and excellence.
• Maintain strong client communication, providing clear explanations of conditions, treatment plans, and prognoses.
• Contribute to hospital-wide initiatives, quality improvement, and clinical studies programs.

• 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital with large ICU and treatment areas
• Advanced imaging: 64-slice CT, digital radiology, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, endoscopy
• Two fully equipped surgical suites and six examination rooms
• Supportive care: mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, transfusions, advanced fluid therapy
• Intensive care monitoring: continuous telemetry, pulse oximetry, capnography, CVP monitoring, direct/indirect blood pressure
• In-house laboratory capabilities: CBC, chemistry, coagulation profiles, blood gases, TEG, co-oximetry

Candidate Profile

• Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Cardiology
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in California
• Passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care for pets
• Strong team player who enjoys mentoring and collaboration

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary: $120,000–$300,000, negotiable based on experience and credentials
