We’re currently working with a well-established small animal hospital in Sacramento, CA, that is seeking a Medical Director to lead medical quality and guide the clinical direction of the practice. This role offers the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine while influencing hospital standards, mentoring veterinarians, and working with a collaborative and experienced team. The Medical Director is supported by advanced medical technology, modern facilities, and strong operational resources, enabling a focus on excellent patient care and team development.

Schedule

• Hospital hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

• Full-time position

• Rotating weekends as needed

• Salary negotiable based on experience

• Annual salary range:  $180,000 +

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent

• Veterinary license in good standing in California, or ability to obtain
