Veterinary Neurologist (Residency-Trained or Board-Certified) – Westbury, NY

We’re working with a 24/7 veterinary specialty and emergency hospital in Westbury, New York, that is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Neurologist to join its growing team. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment supported by advanced technology, modern facilities, and a highly skilled clinical team. About the Hospital
The hospital is a full-service emergency and specialty facility providing comprehensive care around the clock. Specialty services available include Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Surgery. The clinical team includes Veterinary Technician Specialists (VTS) in Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) and Small Animal Internal Medicine (SAIM), creating a strong support structure for complex cases.

The facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including:

• Seven exam rooms

• Two ultrasound suites

• On-site MRI

• 128-slice CT scanner

• Fluoroscopy

• Endoscopy

• Wound vacuum therapy

• Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

• Electromyography (EMG)

• ICU ventilator

• Video otoscope

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is negotiable and based on experience, skills, and relevant credentials. The salary range for this role, based on a 40-hour work week, is $120,000 – $300,000 annually, with potential eligibility for additional performance-based compensation.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent

• Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Neurology

• Licensure in good standing to practice in New York, or the ability to obtain licensure
