Veterinary Surgeon – Banbury, Oxfordshire – Full and part time hours available

We are currently working with a thriving practice based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, that is seeking a small animal Vet to complement their team.

The practice is happy to consider both full and part time hours for the right person, to allow for work-life balance and to allow you to do the things you love.

The practice

The practice is fully kitted out to a high standard, and facilities include 3 consult rooms, full in-house laboratory, digital CR radiography and ultra-sound. There’s a well equipped surgical theatre with diathermy, capnography and multi-parameter monitor. It also has piped anaesthetic gases in all areas of the surgery.

You will join a highly experienced multi Vet team, and will be supported by a hugely committed Practice Manager and an established, dedicated RVN team with a variety of experience.

You’ll take care of much-loved pets including dogs, cats, reptiles and raptors – from routine health consults, to complex medical cases and orthopaedic surgery. More than 30% of your active client base is insured, to allow you to work up your cases.

The role

The practice is looking for a confident, talented and experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is personable and forward-thinking. In return for helping develop the practice, you can look forward to plenty of opportunities for training and CPD, including funding towards certificates. There is also the opportunity to become a practice owner if that is something you wanted to progress to.

The practice can offer flexible hours, ranging from a minimum of 25 hours to full time, with 1:3 weekends and no out of hours.
